My Auntie, my Godmother and my friend sadly passed away on 28 February 2009, after a long fight against cancer. Auntie Mo was the most kind, caring and wonderful person I have ever known. She will be sadly missed by everyone and her memory will live on in all of us who were so fortunate to know her.

Auntie Mo,
Not a day goes by you are not in our thoughts. It still does not seem real that you are gone, although we know you will always be in our hearts. We took some flowers down to you today and also some for Grandad. We will always think of you and miss you Auntie Mo. xxxxx

If roses grow in Heaven Lord
Please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Auntie Mo's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it everyday,
But there is an ache within my heart
That will never go away.

Godmothers have no wands or wings,
So they work with wisdom, love, and things.
Having taken on this role,
You loved me right down to my soul.

You offered kindness
And greetings with a hug and kiss,
Each freely out of love which I will miss.
I chose a twinkling star in the sky at night ,
To say a prayer for you to it's bright light.

You’re in God’s Heavens now and no longer in pain,
In my thoughts, you’ll always remain…
How lucky I was,
How blessed I’ve been,
You were more than my Godmother,
You were also my friend.

Love and miss you Auntie Mo

My best friend

A flower may die!
The sun may set!
But a friend like you,
I'll never forget!
Your name is precious!
It will never grow old!
It's engraved in my heart!
In letters of gold!

Moey we have been friends for 43 years - what am I going to do without you?
I am going to miss you so much!

Thank you for all the lovely memories of the happy times we have shared - I will cherish them forever. I'll never forget you - how could I? A very special friend, with a pure soul and a heart of gold!
God bless you and keep you safe.

Love you Val xx
